Workshop participants will explore symmetry, translations, reflections, and rotations of figures and images from African American and Hispanic culture. This hands-on-activities, high-energy workshop will embody a fusion of fun-filled geometrical tools; technology; NCTM publications; the NCTM Geometry, Algebra, Connections, and Problem-Solving Standards; and the Equity Principle.
