Description of Presentation:

Advances in the learning sciences and in effective academic effort have implications for mathematics education. We will review motivation theory, attribution theory, and behavioral economics and how they apply to teaching next-generation standards and making the Common Core mathematics practice standards a normative part of mathematics instruction.
