Description of Presentation:
We interviewed 12th grade urban students who had used either standards-based or traditional mathematics curricula in middle school. Results indicate that these two types of middle school curricula may have different long-term effects on students’ attitudes and beliefs about the teaching, learning, and nature of mathematics.
