Algebra tiles can be used effectively to help students in grades 6-8 gain an understanding of algebraic concepts and skills. In this session, we will use concrete and virtual algebra tiles to simplify expressions and to solve linear equations. We will focus on how algebra tiles can be used to teach specific standards in the Common Core.
