Studies across STEM disciplines have shown that active learning is more effective than lecture alone (Freeman et al., 2014). In this burst, I will share how I integrate two active learning techniques, inquiry-based learning (IBL) and team-based learning (TBL) in my math classes. Nuts and bolts, lessons learned, and successes will be shared.
