How can you learn about students' fraction ideas? We will share how we have used formative assessment tasks across grades 3âÂÂ5 to learn about students' sharing strategies, representation, fraction language, and notation. There will be opportunities to try out the assessment approach and learn how the resulting data has been used to inform instruction.
