Participants will engage in activities designed to help students develop an intuitive understanding of volume formulas for cylinders, cones, prisms, and pyramids. Then they will complete a series of open-ended tasks involving surface area and volume, and they will discuss ways to implement these in the classroom to challenge different learners.
