Max and Annie of the Math Forum at NCTM may
be best known for what Ignites them: their passionate
5-minute talks on subjects such as “I Notice, I
Wonder,” or on why 2 is greater than 4. At the Math
Forum, they’ve read every student submission to the
featured Math Forum Problems of the Week, and they
spend lots of time online (where they regularly host
#elemmathchat) and in schools listening to students,
asking questions, and doing math.
