Are your students struggling with place value? Do they lack the necessary skills to build a solid foundation of number sense? If so, come discover sustainable change through practice and collaboration. This session will provide opportunities for participants to engage in hands-on activities that will allow them to explore the building of number sense through the use of various manipulatives. As a result, participants will develop an understanding of how to prepare students to apply and use place value with procedural fluency.
