Start using recursion in the classroom as a strategy. Participants will investigate Tower of Hanoi, Lions in Cages, Leap Frog, triangular numbers, and the Fibonacci series by using manipulatives and diagrams; create recursive and nonrecursive general terms; and use graphing calculators to solve for specific terms in the sequence.
