This session addresses challenges that we face as we work to improve mathematics teaching and learning for all students, including NCTM’s Reasoning and Sense Making Initiative, support in the implementation and assessment of the CCSSM, and efforts to reverse the persistently poor attitude towards mathematics in North America.
