Engaging students in math in the middles grades can be especially difficult challenge. Video games, however, can be a powerful motivating tool for students. This session will show how to use a Kinect or other controllerless video game to explore math concepts as well as other interdisciplinary learning for middle school students.
Presentation Format: 6-8 Session
Grade Band Audience: 9 to 12, 6 to 8
