Understanding proportional reasoning in grade 6 and grade 7 mathematics is the fundamental work for the Function domain in grade 8 and high school Algebra. By examining the mathematical shifts; Focus, Coherence and Rigor we will take a close look at coherence between Ratios & Proportions to Functions.
