The speaker will offer strategies, including use of manipulatives, to develop number sense, geometry, and problem-solving skills. She will actively engage attendees with hands-on activities and real-life problems, and she will model the use of effective mathematical discourse to develop concepts, critical thinking, and mathematics vocabulary.
