Preservice teachers can learn to teach measurement and data through literacy-based instruction. This can help them to enable children to visualize measurement in real-life situations and also help exceptional learners to form conceptual understanding of the measurement process, tools of measurement, nonstandard and standard units of measurement, and the process of data collection.
