Engaging mathematical discourse—isn't that what we all want in our classrooms? But how do we get there? This presentation will describe a variety of question types, including those based on the revised Bloom's taxonomy, question stems, alternative response questions, and talk moves. The speaker will explore criteria for "quality questions."
