Teachers will see a variety of children's literature big books and how these are used to bridge language to develop mathematical concepts. Participants will see examples of how to use children's books to teach counting, adding, subtracting, and comparing. Teachers will learn effective discourse, how to use manipulatives, and real-world connections.
