Many preservice teachers find peer teaching hard, with no discipline issues and little mathematical discourse because the “students” know the content. The speaker will share a recent change in, and feedback from, her methods course, where preservice teachers teach in developmental classes, videotape lessons, and analyze and reflect on experiences.
