Are you tired of young mathematicians saying plussed or minussed? Even though teachers model academic math vocabulary, students fail to use it in conversation. A teacher of English learners and an elementary math coach will demonstrate strategies to help students in kingergarten–grade 5 use academic math vocabulary.
