Description of Presentation:

Studies exploring the role and impact on teaching of secondary teachers’ knowledge of the mathematical horizon will be presented; topics include CCSS-M, abstract algebra, real analysis, and statistics. Illustrations connected to classroom teaching practices will be examined and implications for mathematics teacher education discussed.
