Description of Presentation:
We describe a project aimed at understanding and decreasing the mathematics opportunity gap in discipline-specific terms, and highlight three tensions that have arisen related to characteristics of formative intervention research: focusing on a problem of practice, stimulating participants to produce innovations, and expanding participants’ agency.
